Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary, General Consul, Mr Ferenc Blaumann, visited the Institute of Oriental Studies
Duken Masimhanuly, Director General of the Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies has held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary, Mr. Ferenc Blauman.
As we know from history, the Hungarians (Magyars) are related to the Kazakhs. The fact that Magyars who lived in Central Asia migrated to the West is known to all.
The meeting extensively discussed issues such as: the early history and culture of the Magyars, the history of the migration of the Huns to the west, joint research into the history and traditions of the Kipshaks in Magyaria, and the establishment of close relations between orientalists and Turkologists of the two countries.
The Consul has sincerely expressed his willingness to establish links with Hungarian research centres and individual scholars in the field of Orientalism and Turkology, and everything discussed here is not just a conversation.
The Director General of the Institute expressed his great gratitude to the Ambassador for the meeting, which was held in a respectful and genuinely kindred atmosphere.
