ENSURING SECURITY IN THE FORMAT OF KAZAKHSTAN’S FOREIGN POLICY: THREATS, CHALLENGES AND PRIORITIES

The scientific report presents a conceptual model of ensuring the security of Kazakhstan’s foreign policy, taking into account threats, challenges and priority areas for the short and medium term. The work was carried out within the framework of the program of targeted financing No. ВR05236550 “Multi-vector and security of foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries” (2018-2020). The authors give a characteristic of the foundations and formation of a system for ensuring national economic security in the context of global risks. The analysis of threats and challenges to the national security of Kazakhstan, their typology in the context of geopolitical processes is carried out. Scientific and methodological approaches to ensuring national security are revealed, the essence and content of the main types of security are considered. The main recommendations for the development of a mechanism for ensuring the economic security of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been developed.

The development of this mechanism is due to the need to improve public administration and regulation in the foreign policy and economic spheres.
