The analytical study, carried out in the format of a note, examines the main problems of Kazakhstan’s foreign policy and ways of solving them in real time. The authors investigated the problems of foreign policy of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries in the context of global transformations. The analysis of the current state of development of the Central Asian countries in the context of geopolitical processes is carried out. The scientific and methodological approaches to the formation of the foundations of the multi-vector and security of foreign policies in the region, which determine the sustainable development of the Central Asian countries in the face of overcoming the crisis consequences, are substantiated.
